Our most significant impact comes through our investment funds, where we use our role as an investor to promote positive behavior and greater transparency in the companies we invest in.
As part of our broader commitment to supporting sustainable business practices, we emphasize the value and benefits of a long-term perspective to both the management teams of the companies we invest in and our clients. We advocate this mindset because we believe that companies with long-term strategic vision are better positioned to build sustainable businesses. These businesses are more likely to deliver attractive and stable returns for investors, while creating a positive impact for all stakeholders.
Sustainability at our offices
Our headquarters in Geneva (in 2018) and our offices in London (in 2019) and Luxembourg (in 2021) have run on 100% renewable energy for several years. We favour video conferencing over business travel and encourage eco-friendly commuting for our employees.
As part of our climate policy, we have monitored annually our key carbon emissions in line with the GHG protocol. These include:
- Scope 2 emissions – office electricity consumption
- Scope 3 emissions – business travel and employee travel
Our intention is to reduce our carbon footprint each year and to offset remaining carbon emissions through certified offset projects.
