QUAERO CAPITAL strengthens its real estate division with the arrival of Alexandre Renault as Head of Asset Management and Margaux Cugura as Fund Manager

QUAERO CAPITAL welcomes Alexandre Renault as Head of Real Estate Asset Management and Margaux Cugura as Real Estate Fund Manager to support the development of its real estate business. The asset manager, which currently manages EUR 3 billion on behalf of major European institutional clients, aims to create new funds from 2023 in order to reach EUR 500 million under management by 2025 for its Real Estate division, which already has two OPPCIs (Foncière Quaero I and Educatio, which recently received ISR certification).

Alexandre Renault is now Head of Real Estate Asset Management, reporting to Jérôme Dulon, Director of Asset Management within the real estate division. He will be responsible for deploying value enhancement strategies for all real estate assets under management, both office and educational.

Alexandre Renault has more than 16 years of experience in real estate. He started his career in 2006 as a salesman in the tertiary sector at Arthur Loyd and then joined Foncia Entreprise, where he became branch manager. He then moved to real estate asset management, notably at LFPI REIM and then Perial Asset Management, where he was in charge of managing a portfolio of real estate assets in France and Europe (Germany and the Netherlands).

Alexandre Renault studied Modern Literature at the Institut Catholique de Paris and Communication at the IICP.

Margaux Cugura joins QUAERO CAPITAL as a Real Estate Fund Manager reporting to Olivier Lutz, Head of Real Estate. She will be responsible for the financial and administrative monitoring of the two OPPCIs under management, as well as the analysis and structuring of investments. She will also supervise the creation of new funds, starting in 2023.

Since 2017, she has held the position of auditor in the Real Estate division of PwC, where she was in charge of legal audits for real estate companies. Margaux Cugura holds a Master’s degree in Audit – Management Control from the IÉSEG School of Management.
